Many of us grew up playing and building with Lego bricks since we were small kids. Making dreams comes true, whether it was constructing a building, the perfect town, or a fancy vehicle to go where our hearts desired. There are only a few of us with a childlike spirit that has let the force guide us through the galaxy, creating Lego Star Wars art for all to enjoy.

Through their imaginative thinking, artists have mastered the, ideas and the creative dreams, of Lego to develop careers and hobbies, outside of working for Lego. Jay Hoff a Florida school teacher built a 6 foot X 6 foot model, of a Star Wars scene from Return of the Jedi. Paul Yperman created a 30,000 piece Droid Control Ship. A sculpture by Sylvain Ballivets is a 43,000 piece model of a Venator Class Destroyer.

Artists always seem to enjoy using the old popular photos version to express their talents. They catch their Lego Star Wars mini figures in funny, unusual and sometimes unexpected positions. This is easy to do, and usually does not cost a lot of time, effort, or special studio or lighting with a digital camera. The more impressive artists make the their character’s settings as realistic as possible for the situation they pose them in.

Digital photography and the advancements of video technology has lead to a new trend in artistic talents. The popularity of You-Tube, Facebook and other social medias has gotten many artists turning towards a mini video realm, with motion and rhythm of characters set to music. This type of highly popular art creativity is most impressive and fun to watch especially with the multitude of Star Wars mini figures and Star Wars songs available to choose from. Video games also play a role in developing young artists creativity, allowing players to use their own imagination. Many games give them options to be able to change their Lego Star Wars characters to fit the players own personality.
